Saint-Paul Church

Saint Paul's Church was built in 1828 in neo-classical style, in the shape of a temple instead of a cross, with a copper roof.It is not oriented towards Rome-Jerusalem like the other churches.The main attractions:- The large baroque altar of St. Catherine, from the basilica, purchased in 1807- The painting of the conversion of Saint Paul, restored by Judith Debruyn in 1998- Two medallions of the two patrons of the universal church and of the abbey of Saint-Hubert- Saint Peter with his keys and a book (institution)- St. Paul with a sword and a book (missionary)- Tabernacle from the 19th century- Pelican feeding children- bust of the 4 evangelists- beautiful baroque lamppost- organ: small copy of the romantic organs of the organ builder Mr. Agnessens- 5 tombstones in schist (including 3 weeping willows)- Stone baptismal font, covered with a red copper dome in 1626(M. Denis, abbot)
