Roumont Castle

Property of the Coppée family. Roumont Castle rises majestically in the middle of an English-style park with straight avenues leading into the woods. Built in 1912, this castle is reminiscent of those in the Loire Valley. In the surrounding area, four satellite farms complete this vast domain. The farm of Maubeuge, between Ochamps and Anloy, is the most monumental.In August 1914, the Domaine de Roumont witnessed bloody fighting on the territory of Ochamps and became a place of first aid.The castle has been owned by the Coppée family since 1885.
