Le pont Marie-Thérèse

On the N89, before arriving in the village of Maissin, follow the sign towards Villance. A little further on, a stone road descends to the right. The bridge is 100 m further on. It is also accessible on foot via the "Promenade des Ponts" (yellow sign No. 1).

This four-arch bridge between Transinne and Maissin dates from the 18th century. Legend has it that Empress Maria-Theresia had it built after an accident she suffered while crossing the Lesse on horseback.
