Plain de Saint-Michel

The trail in the heart of the Saint-Michel forest passes through one of Belgium's most beautiful forests. It consists mainly of deciduous trees. Several streams, such as the bubbling Masblette, run through the trail. At the start of the walk you will pass the Arboretum du Fourneau Saint-Michel. On 2 hectares, among the most remarkable species you will find the Douglas fir, Vancouver fir, noble fir, Californian tsuga, Japanese larch, a magnificent beech, etc. You can enjoy the proximity of the Fourneau Saint-Michel for a snack and a drink. There is ample parking at the starting point and a picnic area.

This signposted walk can be found on the Saint-Hubert walking map, available for €8 at the Maison du Tourisme de la Forêt de Saint-Hubert.
