Notre Dame et Saint-Remacle Church

Built in 1885 in the Romanesque-Rhenish style, this church reflects the prosperity of Spa at the end of the 19th century. The funeral of Queen Marie-Henriette was celebrated here on 22 September 1902, in the presence of her husband King Leopold II and her nephew Prince Albert. The latter was later crowned as Albert I: the famous knight king of the First World War.
