The old oak of Sart village square

This remarkable tree, known as the "Old Oak", has a circumference of over five metres in and is at least 500 years old. Tradition has it that Charlemagne did justice at this spot. This tree has been listed since 1960.

It is located on the edge of the remarkable market square in the village of Sart. This square is surrounded by several listed buildings such as the tower of the Saint-Lambert church, the perron and the Lespire house.
