Les Ruchers de l'Ourthe occidentale
Guy has always had a keen interest in nature and became interested in beekeeping in 2012. He followed a 2-year course at the centre of Michamps.
To develop his independence, he followed a year of specialisation in queen breeding in Arlon. This was followed by professional training in France to perform artificial insemination of queens (Apinov).
The values he upholds are care, passion and respect for his precious bees.
His colonies are located in the western Ourthe Valley, specifically in the municipalities of Tenneville, Sainte-Ode, Bertogne and La Roche-en-Ardenne.
The bees visit forests, meadows and the flower gardens of local residents.
He harvests and sells the honey and pollen his bees bring as well as the propolis they secrete. He also offers sales of swarms and Buckfast queens from carefully selected lines (F1, by appointment).
